From the moment we checked in we loved everything about Arma Resort and Museum. The staff are extremely friendly, even the owner who you may inconspicuously bump into somewhere on the grounds, he was SO FRIENDLY! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Even just engaging in conversations with them was awesome. Our room was an oasis, we got exactly what we wanted with our stay. We never really heard any other visitors unless they happen to be loud, which no one was. I loved that we could walk around the grounds and open-air museum. I took advantage of a massage at the spa and it was wonderful. The masseuse was accommodating and incredibly sweet, I just feel bad I never went back to get some aloe vera from her as we were busy that last day ( I had a bad sunburn) The pool was conveniently located next to the spa so you could just lounge in that area. I loved that artists were on-site at the museum portion. You can stop and have a chat with a few of them. The hotel can set up wood carving, dancing classes, and small tours upon request. You'll have a sheet with all that information in the hotel room. We were able to catch two dances while there, Legong and Kecak dances. It felt like we were immersed in another world! The breakfast was great, it was a little bit of Indonesian food and then western food but they catered to everyone. All in all, I would come back here, and I would refer our friends to this destination. It's a great learning environment, I love that we were assisting the Arma Foundation with our stay and assisting in keeping Balinese culture alive. It made the stay that much better!

The resort is amazing!!!! The architecture and interior design of the buildings immediately make you feel that you are isolated from the modern world . You are in the middle of the jungle but at the same time in the centre of Ubud city. As soon as you cross the street there is a 24h supermarket and the moment you step in the resort the only thing you hear and feel is nature ! We stayed at the suite pool villa and it was our honeymoon trip so we booked the honeymoon package . We enjoyed every moment of the villa! The floating breakfast was a fusion of Balinese and Thai cuisine , very nice. The private dinner at our villa with the dancers created an amazing memory to remember for the rest of our lives . It was like we were playing in a romantic movie !The staff was so friendly and always there to help us with whatever we might have needed . We stayed in Ubud 5 nights all of them at Arma and we enjoyed every moment . The shows were fabulous and the Balinese massage was mind - blowing . We booked twice the Balinese 90 mins massage !! Everything was beyond expectations !!! The best choice we ever done was to book ARMA!

Fantastic large landscaped grounds with multiple water features, bridges, stairs etc to explore. We stayed in a pool villa which was located in a quiet corner of the site and it was wonderful. Private garden with pool and cabana, all lushly planted and well maintained. The bedroom was large with a high ceiling and mozzie net around the bed, and although they weren’t a problem, the odd one snuck inside. Loved all the frog sounds at night from the pool in the outdoor deck part of the bathroom! Unfortunately we didn’t get round to trying the huge carved stone bath there but it was impressive. Staff were all lovely and helpful, especially carrying our bags all the way there and up the steps. They also arranged a car for sightseeing one day and pickup back to the airport, well organised. The dance performances are a must see! Amazingly good, the Gamalan orchestra especially hypnotic, all incredibly professional - see them all if you can! An added bonus is free entry into the museum which has a lot of varied Balinese art from old to very contemporary.

The Arma exceeded our expectations. I really have nothing bad to say. We stayed there to rest off our jetlag, and we succeeded. We stayed in a villa, which was a place I never wanted to leave. If I were to say anything, it would be more of a suggestion. I traveled with my mother, who is elderly and has difficulty walking. I requested a villa more centralized,, and was given the villa that was the farthest away from everything. So, my mother was stuck in her villa. We were unable to venture out at night because of obstacles and poor lighting on walkways.. Another suggestion would be to have more lighting at night. Some steps were totally dark and made it difficult even for me. Some hand railings to assist with the steps would also be of great help. So I don't think this resort is very elderly or disabled friendly. With that, I have NO complaints. I will be back. Thank you to the staff for trying their best to accommodate us.

Arma museum and resort was one of the places that we chose for our honeymoon. It was the cleanest room that we have ever stayed. Big room with all the facilities, everyday room cleaning and a great view of the pool. Plus they had made for us a nice bed decoration with flowers. The breakfast was great with plenty of choices and all staff was always helpful and with a big smile. They even helped me to make a surprise for my husband at his birthday. Arma is at the center of Ubud but the room was so quiet. Highly recommend Arma museum and resort and if sometime we return to Bali we will choose this resort again. Thank you for making our honeymoon even better.
