From the moment we checked in we loved everything about Arma Resort and Museum. The staff are extremely friendly, even the owner who you may inconspicuously bump into somewhere on the grounds, he was SO FRIENDLY! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Even just engaging in conversations with them was awesome. Our room was an oasis, we got exactly what we wanted with our stay. We never really heard any other visitors unless they happen to be loud, which no one was. I loved that we could walk around the grounds and open-air museum. I took advantage of a massage at the spa and it was wonderful. The masseuse was accommodating and incredibly sweet, I just feel bad I never went back to get some aloe vera from her as we were busy that last day ( I had a bad sunburn) The pool was conveniently located next to the spa so you could just lounge in that area. I loved that artists were on-site at the museum portion. You can stop and have a chat with a few of them. The hotel can set up wood carving, dancing classes, and small tours upon request. You'll have a sheet with all that information in the hotel room. We were able to catch two dances while there, Legong and Kecak dances. It felt like we were immersed in another world! The breakfast was great, it was a little bit of Indonesian food and then western food but they catered to everyone. All in all, I would come back here, and I would refer our friends to this destination. It's a great learning environment, I love that we were assisting the Arma Foundation with our stay and assisting in keeping Balinese culture alive. It made the stay that much better!

Lovely traditional hotel, living the culture of Bali, mixed with modern design but keeping the Balinese style. The rooms are facilitated with love to details. My room supplied more than shower gel, like tooth brush and tooth past, racer, cotton pads and the like. There is a bottle opener built in to the wall. The shower in my room was separate to the WC. The set up and decoration of the room was made with love for arts. There was lots of space for storage, even a place for the kettle and cups inside the draw. The balcony overlooks the very nice pool and the lovely garden that is right next to the rice field and paths for walking through the resorts wider areal. I just loved it. Who loves culture, music and nature will most likely be at the right place here. The museum is enclosed. The resort was holding a Charity Live Music Concert at their open stage which was well organised and received. I also tried the hotels cuisine, excellent. I felt a professional handling and customer service of old school which I very much appreciated.

I first walked into the property from the Arma Museum side which probably was a good thing becuase it was a peaceful experience wondering around. The whole property is like a Ancient Balanise Temple and Garden. The propery had two modest medium size pools but they where nice areas. The Rooms where large size and the staff was very friendly. Also they had several cultural activities you could add during your stay for various prices. Also there is many restaurants nearby but you will need a car or a motor scooter to go out and see this area. I would definitely stay here again especially if I get a reasonable price that week because it probably fluctuates anyhow thanks DA Usa

This is a hidden gem, a magical oasis of serenity and Balinese beauty. Everything about our stay here was so special. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, the grounds and rice fields are spectacular, the rooms are private and well spaced from each other, the staff is kind, friendly, professional. We also went to a Kecak Performance on the grounds of Arma Resort, which included a Balinese buffet dinner and live music.....it was a very special evening, I recommend it! We would have loved to stay more than 4 nights, this resort is perfect in every way.

We liked the peaceful surroundings, a retreat from the business of being out and about in Bali. We liked the thoughtful plantings, the museum, the cafe with access to a library with many books about aspects of Bali which we found informative reading. We appreciated the friendliness of the staff - even the gardeners said hello. We also appreciated the evening program and thought the program with the Balinese dancers was excellent. We also thought the food offered at the restaurant was very good with plenty of variety of choices for breakfast.
